Lara's new haircut makes her look like a flapper!
I've been riding my bike and reading books.
I've been teaching myself new tricks.
I found this poem in an old Chronogram and pasted it to my wall:
Bad Baggage (Cinquains for the Middle of the Road)
I met
They say
a man who said,
“I think you’ll do for now.”
He didn’t tell me what he thought
I’d do.
I did
the best I could
do at that time of life.
My bag of tricks was running low
back then.
I have
some more tricks now,
the bag is filling up
with lots of junk
I’ll never need
again.
there’s not one thing
anyone gets to keep, just
odd, assorted things for rent
or loan.
So now
it’s time to sort
them out and give away
the items I can’t use, to those
who can.
I’ll try
to travel light
from here, if I still can.
To remember, if I buy it,
it’s mine.
Lara and I might start a photobucket or flickr or blog together tomorrow.
Justin is coming to Middletown and we might travel, or play some songs tomorrow.
